Location: Matagalpa County, Northern Region of Nicaragua. It’s an area of Coffee Plantations, Mountains, and Rain Forest. Only a 2 hours drive from Managua City, 3.5 hours flight from Houston TX, and 9 hours drive from San José - Costa Rica!
Start: At the Historical Cathedral in Matagalpa City.
Finish: “Finca Las Nubes” an amazing Coffee Plantation, located in Fila Grande, Matagalpa County, in the northern area of Nicaragua.
Distance: 50 Miles NON STOP
Start Time: 6:00 AM.
Divisions: We’d like that a wide range of mountain marathoners and ultra runners participate in the event, therefore, the Q50 Finca Las Nubes - Nicaragua has 2 divisions:
- 50 miles (80K) Solo, Men and Women.
- 50 miles (80K) 2-person Team Relay of 25 miles (40K) each (Men, Women, and Co ed Teams).
Cut off Time: 12 hs. for both Solo and 2-person Team Relay.
Surface: Marked dirt road and trails.
CHARITY: As all the Q50 Races, this edition will help an entity of the country in which the race takes place. This time, part of the registration fee will be donated to a little health clinic of a small village located in the race course: El Jobo. They need everything! |
